This antique navette ring dates to around the 1910s-1920s, with a new shank. It features a spectacularly saturated natural ruby of approximately 1.85 carats, and old mine cut diamond pavé, approximately 0.40ctw. I had it assessed by my gemologist, who was unsure if it had undergone heating, but saw no evidence of filler treatments. I am assuming it is heated. The ring itself weighs 2.9 grams, and is crafted from 18K yellow gold, with the navette consisting of an unusual platinum and white gold alloy that tests between 10 and 14K. The nanette measures 19.5 x 7 mm. It fits like a size 6.25, and is fully sizable.
