This antique gold filled rope chain is marked "HFB" for HF Barrows Co., a manufacturer established in Attleboro, MA in 1851. This long guard chain appears to be late Victorian, in excellent condition, with its original dog clip. It weighs 10.2 grams, and measures 48.5 inches long.
